Introduction to Early Childhood Special Education
The purpose of this class is to explore and enhance individual knowledge and skills necessary to design, implement, and evaluate home-based and center-based early intervention programs, research-based intervention strategies and curricula for infants and toddlers with disabilities with an emphasis in family-centered, culturally consistent, and inclusive practices. It will also include a focus on Part C of IDEA and the philosophical and legal base for services.
