CSCL Module Five: Comparison of Collaborative Tools
You will need to go to the Module Five Wiki designed for your group and perform four steps to successfully complete this lesson.
Four Steps
- Step 1: Each member chooses a research tool. Each member chooses a collaboration tool to research and then individually writes a paragraph about the tool in the wiki.
- Step 2: Decide what role each student will play in writing the comparison. As a group, decide the role each student will play in collaboratively writing a brief comparison of these tools. Post the roles in the wiki and explain the decision-making process.
- Step 3: Compare the collaboration tools chosen in step 1. As a group, write a brief comparison on the collaboration tools chosen in step 1. The report should be posted in the wiki.
- Step 4: Reflection. Reflect individually on the experience, including the success or failure of the role assignments. Reflections should be written in the wiki.
Additional Guidelines
- You are welcome to use other communication tools than the wiki. However, the wiki will be the primary source for your assessment. We encourage you to make as much of your work visible on the wiki as possible.
- You may add pages to the wiki.
