Web Application Development II

Screenshot of application

Spring 2007

In Web Application Development II, taught by Kwangsu Cho, Ph.D., we learned to develop Web applications with ASP.NET, HTML and Visual Basic.

I developed interactive applications using Microsoft Visual Studio Express 2005. I used SQL Express for database development.

Final Project

My final project was to build a prospective student career survey that was an interactive ASP.NET Web application with SQL Express as the back-end database.

Abstract of Project

Screenshot of application

Prospective students do not always realize the wide range of available degree choices within the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources (CAFNR).

The goal of this project was to create an interactive survey which results in promoting the College and its wide range of degrees.

The CAFNR Web site currently offers detailed information about majors, career possibilities and career services.

The survey results point to specific resources which already exist on the College's site, such as a sample curriculum, more career choices and extracurricular clubs.
